Kleinwort Benson announces rebrand to reflect corporate strategy
07 July 2006
Kleinwort Benson, the provider of banking and financial services to corporate and private clients in the UK and Channel Islands, is pleased to announce changes to the company brand and structure, and has also moved its City of London offices to a new location at 30 Gresham Street.
The new business structure will amalgamate Kleinwort Benson Private Bank and Kleinwort Benson Channel Islands under the single brand of Kleinwort Benson. The bank has also begun an expansion of its regional office network in the UK. These developments reflect the new corporate strategy introduced by CEO Robert Taylor.
Taylor joined Kleinwort Benson in November 2004 and has recently led the company through a process of strategic review, resulting in a redefinition of the business into two distinct lines - private wealth management and corporate fiduciary and intermediaries. This represents the different needs of the private client and corporate markets and puts in place the infrastructure to take the business to its next level of growth.
Kleinwort Benson combines strong traditional values of client service with a focus on enterprise and innovation, and uses in-house expertise as well as out-sourced products to deliver bespoke solutions across a range of services for both individual and corporate clients.
Private clients will continue to benefit from the full range of wealth management services tailored to their individual requirements. These range from banking, fiduciary services and investment management advice to enterprising initiatives including tax-efficient structured products, SIPPs and absolute return investments.
Kleinwort Benson provides a full range of banking and investment services to Trust companies in the Channel islands, and also creates innovative investment products for access via IFA networks in the UK. In addition, one of the fastest growing Channel Islands business areas is the provision of a full suite of third party fund administration services for offshore domiciled investment funds.
Rob Taylor, CEO, commenting on the new business strategy said: "I look forward to building on Kleinwort Benson’s strong banking heritage and reputation through continued development of unique products and services for both the private client and corporate markets. We are proud of our enterprising philosophy and continue to expand our services for like-minded individuals and businesses that appreciate our expertise and innovation".
