Kleinwort Benson sponsors ITV Channel Television's Report Sport

31 January 2008 - Kleinwort Benson is becoming the main sponsor of ITV Channel Television ’s Report Sport for 2008 as part of its celebrations of 45 years as a major financial services sector employer in Jersey and Guernsey.

Transmitted on Mondays and Fridays at 6.15pm, ITV Channel Television ’s Report Sport brings everyone in the Channel Islands all the latest news in local sports.

Each month’s sponsorship credits (at the beginning and end of the programme) will feature different Kleinwort Benson sports stars participating in their chosen discipline. Throughout January, Guernsey Rugby captain Andy Bailey, a Private Banker, and Jersey Rugby team’s Ian Henderson, a Portfolio Manager, have been the focus.

February will feature ten pin bowler Lauren Hurford, who recently retained her title as Guernsey Ladies Singles Champion. Lauren joined Kleinwort Benson 18 months ago as a Trust Administrator in the Guernsey office.

Kleinwort Benson is already closely associated with island sport through its longstanding involvement with the annual Kleinwort Benson Channel Islands Yacht Challenge and Kleinwort Benson Cycle Challenge. They are delighted to strengthen their commitment to sport in the island community by sponsoring Report Sport this year.
