Meet the Team

JAMES STEVENSON

James began his financial services career in 1994 managing private client portfolios for Olde Stockbrokers in the USA. In 1997, James was appointed Branch Manager of Olde’s San Diego office.

In 1999, James moved to the United Kingdom to join the private client team at Greig Middleton Stockbrokers (now part of Barclays Wealth) where he managed discretionary portfolios for private individuals and was head of business development in Manchester.

Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson in Feb 2007, James spent three years as one of the founding Directors of UBS Wealth Management in Manchester where he advised entrepreneurs and senior executives and was responsible for developing their Northwest intermediary business.

James’ qualifications include a Batchelor of Science degree in Architecture and Series 7, Series 8, Series 24 and Series 63 security licenses in the USA along with Certificate in Derivatives (Paper 2) in the UK.

ADRIAN PATTINSON

Adrian joined Kleinwort Benson from Coutts in January 2008, where he had been for 3 years. Prior to that he spent 10 years as a financial advisor with PKF Accountants and Business Advisors.

Adrian has worked with owner managers, entrepreneurs and professional clients and connections for 20 years on all aspects of financial planning and investment.

His pastimes include kite surfing, shooting and mountaineering (but not all at once!).

Living on the Wirral Peninsula, he aims to develop the KB brand in the Liverpool, Wirral and South Cheshire area.
